I've only been to the outer part of Melaka while I was still a pupil back in 2021 and this year, I had the opportunity to visit Melaka and its famous Jonker Street with my family (including Nugs). My sis' boyfriend drove us there on a Saturday morning and we only arrived there after lunch time as the highway was really packed.
Just a few pictures that summarised how the centre of Melaka (mainly Jonker Street) looked like to me.
Finally seeing this famous Kiehl's wall in person after seeing it almost a hundred times on the internet.
The weather was super hot that day and Nugs was constantly panting. Woman borked at some Chinese tourists as they walked by and not sure if that was a good or bad memory for dem tourists.
After my mom and sis got their shopping done, we popped by this pet-friendly cafe called Locahouz at around 5pm. The place was cozy, food was kinda good and everything was reasonably priced.
Cute Orang Utan store.
Met my babes the next day
Dionne's got the butterfly blue pea coffee on the left and I ordered the mint coffee which is on the right. Two beautiful shades of blue! 💙
We had our brunch at Yellow Brick road, Four Points Sheraton KL. I had the Salmon Ochazuke and it was really good!
Dionne ordered a burrata cheese salad. She offered some of the cheese to me and it was good, milky and creamy 😋
Pandan pancake with gula mekaka syrup and vanilla ice cream with a side of caramelised banana. The pancakes were of course, aesthetically pleasing but the taste was so-so, at least to me.
Started going for walks and KL Car Free Walks
Since July, I've started going for these KL Car Free walks in the morning and I really enjoyed the city views.
Then the other day I went to Putrajaya with Eugene to get my car cam installed. Walked to this beautiful view and started my first Strava record after seeing everyone using it.
Went to IOI Putrajaya mall and got ordered this Jasmine Sea Salt cream milk tea because it has this gorgeously blue shaded cream!

Look at how whimsical it is! With the clouds and the backdrop and everything. ☁
Had Sri Lankan meal for the first time at Cafe Colombon IOI Putrajaya Mall. Eugene had the banana leaf rice with special basmathi rice and I had the cheese kottu roti. Everything was good 👏
Sweet Appam for dessert.

Tried out Fujin ramen at Steppes Mont Kiara. We ordered one regular and one spicy ramen. I prefer the regular one more.
That's all for July!
